Some people collect stamps. Katy collects hobbies.
As the Chaos in CritCraftChaos, Katy brings the ideas, the energy and the occasional “I’ve had a thought…” message that somehow turns into the team’s next big project. Equal parts strategist and collector, she’s always looking for the next adventure, whether that’s around a gaming table or in the world of ecommerce.
With over 15 years of experience in ecommerce, Katy has spent her career helping online brands grow while navigating the ever changing world of digital retail. From launching products to solving the inevitable puzzles that come with selling online, she’s always enjoyed finding creative solutions and making things work behind the scenes.
Outside of work, her love of all things geeky is impossible to miss. Board games, trading cards, collectibles, miniatures, dice… if it belongs on a shelf, a table, or in a carefully organised collection, there’s a good chance she’s interested. She firmly believes that collecting is half the fun, and finishing the collection is the other half.
When game night rolls around, you’ll usually find Katy attempting world domination over a game of Risk or slipping into the shadows as a rogue in Dungeons & Dragons. After all, every adventuring party needs someone with a healthy disregard for locked doors and suspicious treasure chests. Although every now and then, she’ll swap daggers for discipline and play a monk instead.
For Katy, joining CritCraftChaos felt like unlocking the next chapter of her own campaign. It brought together years of ecommerce experience with a lifelong passion for tabletop gaming and the opportunity to build something alongside family. The result is a business fuelled by creativity, plenty of laughter, and the belief that the best adventures are the ones you share.
Whether she’s discovering a new board game, adding another set of dice to the collection, or helping bring the next idea to life, Katy is always chasing the next quest. After all, every party needs a little chaos… and she’s more than happy to volunteer.
